Annual Meeting February 27, 2018

MBAH is holding an annual meeting to elect or re-elect board members and officers on February 27, 2018 at 7pm at Fadi's Mediterranean Grill, 12360 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077. This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in the determining the role MBAH takes in the Houston legal community. There are 8 attorney board positions and 1 law student observer position on the ballot. To run for positions on the board or to vote, you must be an active member, which entails paying annual dues. Annual dues are $20 for attorneys and $10 for law students. Dues can be paid online at http://www.mbahouston.net/p/members.html

Candidates who wish to be on the ballot should pay their dues online and submit a short statement of interest by February 15, 2018 to elections@mbahouston.net (who you are, what you’re running for, and why - 150 words or less). Members who are not running for a position but wish to vote may pay their dues up to the beginning of the annual meeting.

An email with a list of candidates for the positions will be sent by February 20th. Votes will be tabulated at the annual meeting. The old board will hold a meeting immediately after the annual meeting and the the new board will go into effect March 1, 2018.
